Women’s Ministry - About the Director

I was born and raised in St. Louis, Mo. I am the youngest of four girls and a proud PK (preacher’s kid). I enjoy being outdoors and being active. I have a great love for the ocean or any water, really. Something about the water brings great peace to my heart. I am lucky enough to be married to Dave, my best friend and we have three children between us: two boys and a girl. As of April 2010 we are proud new grandparents to a beautiful little girl!

Through my own walk of faith there have been many trials, losses and heartache. Some were of my own making; some not, but God has always been faithful. Many times throughout my journey it has been through the heart of a woman, a special friend or a mentor God has brought into my life that helped bring me out of a dark place, gave me the strength to step out of my comfort zone in faith, or prayed for me in a life-changing way.

As a result of the experiences of my own walk, God has given me a passion for women’s ministry. I look forward to watching God’s plan reveal its self in this ministry, and I look forward to getting to know you, my “Sisters in Christ” at Pine Hills. I look forward to the planning, the creativity, the sharing, the different personalities, the growing together, the laughing together--and probably even crying together knowing women --but most of all, I look forward to the opportunity to share Jesus.
